What do I need to book a van on Turo?
To book a van on Turo, you must create a Turo account. When booking your first trip, you will go through a quick approval process by entering your driver’s license and some other information.
How do I pickup/drop off the van?
On Turo, during the booking process, you can schedule pickup/dropoff of the van at any time between 7am and 11pm.
Is there a mileage limit?
No. Our vans come with unlimited mileage.
What about additional drivers?
Listed drivers are the only people allowed to drive the van rental. The primary driver (whoever booked the vehicle on Turo) can add additional drivers with no additional fees. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers. Turo hosts cannot do it for you.
Is there a minimum number of days for a van rental?
No, we do not have a minimum number of days for our van rentals.
What about pets?
Pets are not allowed in our passenger vans
Does the van have USB inputs?
All passenger van rentals have multiple spots with USB ports and power outlets.
Do I need to fill the van rental with gas before I drop it off?
Yes or you will be charged a fee of $80 for host to refill tank.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours before your trip starts. If you book a trip with less than 24 hrs notice, you have 1 hr after booking to cancel free of charge. If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a small cancellation fee.
Can I smoke in the van?
No. All vans are non-smoking. This includes all tobacco and marijuana products. The van should be returned in the same state it was picked up in. Renters are expected to remove all trash from the seats and floors. A cleaning fee will apply if the van is returned exceptionally dirty.
What if I am experiencing a travel delay?
If you are experiencing a travel delay issue, please contact the host as soon as you possible. We will do everything we can to accommodate you and your new schedule.
What should I do if I have an accident?
If there’s an emergency or an issue with the vehicle, call the emergency roadside assistance provider, available 24/7. They will make sure you are safe, then help you get back on your way.
